This is the first I have heard of this event, so I can't really answer any questions on it. Please direct your questions to Tolec at the links below.  When I understand more about it I will speak on it.

I would caution those who are new to this kind of information to not jump to the conclusion that this is the end of the world, quite the opposite, its a new beginning and a whole new way of life. The Galactics and Celestials are going to extraordinary measures to insure a smooth transition and that human civilization continues (without the bad bits).
